The installation of floodlights on courts 4567 will get underway
next week starting Monday 30 January. The initial phase of works
will take around two weeks and will mean that two courts will not
be available at any one time over that fortnight (note that
weekends will be unaffected).
Bookings will be taken on courts 4&5 only although it may be
that on the day it is actually courts 6&7 that are available
for play. The important thing to note is just that we will be
without two of the courts during the week. There will be some
unavoidable distraction and noise during the work as a result of
trench digging, etc in order to prepare and install the floodlight
posts.
There are 18 posts in all to be installed providing 6
floodlights to each court. The positioning and quality of the
lights will ensure a much better quality installation than we
currently have on courts 1&2.
