Congratulations to Club member Miles McDowall who is now ranked number one on the British Tennis Rankings list in the  14&Under age group.

Miles had chalked up a huge number of tournament wins over the winter season and this run of success continued during the Easter  holidays.

Firstly as part of a successful boy's under 14's county team who scooped 3 wins against Dorset, South Wales and Devon to win the South West regional County Cup at Bath giving them a place in the National Finals.

This was followed by an individual win taking the trophy in the boys under 14's grade 2 Nottingham Easter tournament which featured 48 of the countries top players. It was during the same week that Miles became the countries No 1 ranked LTA under 14's boys player .

Miles hopes to consolidate his position at the top by playing in the European Tour matches during the forthcoming summer season.
